3D Card Wallet / Privacy Policy
3D Card Wallet stores imported USDZ / DCard files, registered card information, and private notes on your device. It does not use accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or a D.Dealing server for card storage.
This page describes features available in version 1.0.1 and later. Available features may vary with the version installed on your device.
D.Dealing Co., Ltd. explains how the iOS app 3D Card Wallet handles information in this Privacy Policy.
The app handles information needed to import, organize, display, and share USDZ / DCard 3D business cards selected by the user. A card may contain names, company names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or other information as images or 3D data.
The app handles the following information on the user's device:
The app does not require an account and D.Dealing does not collect or store this information on its servers.
Cards and organizing information are stored in the app’s on-device storage. D.Dealing does not operate a card-storage server. OS backups may include app data depending on device settings.
You can manually export and restore a .cwbackup file using Settings. It contains all cards, profiles, private notes, favorites, order, and per-card backgrounds. It excludes app-wide display settings and is not encrypted by the app. Keep it for your own safekeeping, rather than sending it as a business card.
You choose the destination in Files, including iCloud Drive if available. Data saved to a cloud provider is handled by that provider. This is a manual backup, not automatic app-specific iCloud sync.
The app processes only USDZ / DCard files and backup files that the user chooses to open through the document picker, a share menu, AirDrop, Mail, or another source. A selected file is validated and then copied into the app's on-device storage.
The app does not automatically read the user's entire Files collection, contacts, or photo library.
When the user requests sharing, the app passes a DCard containing the selected USDZ and public profile to the iOS share sheet; USDZ-only sharing remains available. The user chooses the destination. The app does not automatically select a destination or send the file to D.Dealing servers.
A DCard may include the owner's recommended background. DCard sharing excludes private notes, favorites, card order, and the recipient's local background override. Received cards can be shared only when their redistribution policy allows it. Manual backups are different: they include private notes.
When requested, the app passes the selected card’s name, company, job title, department, email, phone, fax, address, and URLs to the standard iOS new-contact screen for your review and confirmation. Private notes are excluded. The app does not automatically read your address book. Saved contacts may sync according to your Contacts account settings.
When the user explicitly starts Send nearby or receive mode, the app discovers another device on the local network. After the sender selects a person and the recipient confirms the peer information and matching code, the app sends the USDZ file, registered name and company, and the owner's recommended background when one is set, directly over an encrypted connection.
The private on-device note and the recipient's local background override are not included. No D.Dealing relay or storage server is used. The recipient reviews the received card before saving it.
Camera access is used only after the user chooses standard AR viewing, allowing iOS to place the 3D card in the surroundings. The app does not independently save the AR camera feed or send it to D.Dealing.
Local Network access is used to find another device for nearby exchange and to transfer the selected card directly. Permission can be changed in iOS Settings. Disabling permission makes the corresponding feature unavailable.
The app does not display ads and does not use analytics services or third-party SDKs for tracking. It does not use advertising identifiers to track users.
3D Card Wallet uses Apple's App Store and iOS for distribution and operating-system features such as document selection, sharing, Quick Look, AR, and backups. Data passed to a third-party app or cloud service selected by the user is handled under that provider's privacy policy.
Cards, registered information, notes, and thumbnails remain on the device until the user deletes the corresponding card. In general, uninstalling the app removes its on-device app data. Operating-system backups, exported backup files, shared copies, and saved Contacts entries remain outside the app. Remove them separately at each destination.
Camera and Local Network permissions can be changed at any time in iOS Settings. A nearby send or receive operation can be cancelled for each exchange.
D.Dealing takes reasonable safeguards appropriate to the data and app architecture. Users should confirm that they have the necessary rights and permission to import, display, and share card data, and should manage device passcodes, backups, and sharing destinations appropriately.
This policy may be updated as the app, laws, or operations change. When changes are made, the last updated date on this page will be revised.

See our corporate privacy policy (Japanese) for its handling and deletion requests. Do not include unnecessary personal information or a full backup.
