Before attaching a screenshot, check that it does not show real names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, or any other business-card information you do not want to share.
Getting started
Add a 3D card
Tap Add in the bottom bar and select a USDZ or DCard file. Review the name and company, choose My cards or Received, and save. You can also add a USDZ received through Files, Mail, AirDrop, or another source by choosing to open it in 3D Card Wallet.
Find a card
Enter a registered name or company in the search field. Use the category control to view all cards, your own cards, or received cards.
View in 3D
Open a card, drag to rotate it, and pinch to zoom. Reset returns the card to its starting view. Standard Quick Look and AR viewing are also available. You can choose a per-card background, and a background chosen for your own card can be shared as the owner's recommendation.
Share
Share exports a DCard containing the USDZ and public profile. A recommended background chosen for your own card is also included. USDZ-only sharing remains in the card menu. Received cards can be shared only if redistribution is allowed. You choose the destination.
Send directly nearby
The sender opens Send nearby from a card, while the recipient opens the receive button in the wallet. Both people should enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and allow Local Network access for the app. Confirm the person and matching code, then the recipient approves and saves the card.
FAQ
Which files can I add?
3D Card Wallet supports USDZ 3D models and DCard packages. The current import limit is 100 MB. A file is not saved if its package structure or 3D model cannot be validated and loaded.
What are the two cards included on first launch?
They are public demos built entirely with fictional information. A new installation adds them on its first launch. You can edit or delete them like ordinary cards, and deleted demos do not automatically return.
Can I add the demos again later?
There is currently no button to reinstall deleted demos. Keep a copy before deleting a card you want to retain.
Is my private note sent with the card?
No. Nearby exchange sends the USDZ file, registered name and company, and the owner's recommended background when one is set. The private note and the recipient's local background override are excluded. DCard sharing also excludes private notes. A .cwbackup backup DOES include private notes, so keep it for your own use.
Why does AR request camera access?
The camera is used only after you choose AR viewing, so iOS can place the 3D card in your surroundings. The app does not independently save the AR camera feed or send it to D.Dealing servers.
Will my cards transfer automatically to a new iPhone?
There is no automatic app-specific iCloud sync. Settings → Backup and Restore lets you save a .cwbackup to Files and restore it manually on a supporting version. It includes cards, profiles, private notes, favorites, order, and per-card backgrounds, but not app-wide display settings. The file is not encrypted by the app. Restore adds missing cards and skips matching USDZ content without overwriting current notes or settings. Keep originals and verify restored data before deleting the source.
Can I add the same card twice?
The same USDZ content is not added twice. Two USDZ files with the same display name but different content can be stored as separate cards.
Deleting data
Delete an individual card from its menu in the app. To remove all app data, first preserve required card files and, in a supporting version, back up private notes and organizing information, then uninstall 3D Card Wallet. Shared copies, backup files, and saved Contacts entries must be deleted separately at their destinations.
Out of scope
- Device, iOS, Apple ID, or third-party app issues unrelated to 3D Card Wallet
- Repair of damaged USDZ files or 3D models created or distributed by another party
- Recovery of files saved to another app or cloud service after sharing
- Individual guarantees for device backup, migration, or long-term preservation
- Legal rights, accuracy, or permission for information included on a card
Save contact details
Use the contact-registration action from card information or the 3D-view menu. Review and edit the standard iOS new-contact screen before saving. Private notes are excluded. Changes to the card do not automatically update an already saved contact.
